2020 Take Away.
It's February and I know you have dived into action whatever you had as your resolution for the year.Well as for me looks like am in China, without the corona virus of cos. Hopeful it's contained.My year has just begun.Topping my list is reviving my blog.I can't believe it has been five years without any update.A lot has happened.Life moved on so fast.From relocating,settling down with my better half and to embracing motherhood.Phew! I got to create time,right.

Information is power and there is no better way other than reading.The knowledge base is wide you just have to know your interest and delve into it.Buy a book and read.Feels good to peruse through the pages.Enjoy it.Better still invest in a kindle.Everyone has a smart phone install this app 'anybooks' and read on the go.Is it fiction,trilogy,autobiography etc read something new.If you know a second language try read the same.

What do you do? What is your profession?What are those interests that you have but have kept postponing.Procrastination bug bit me,am working on it.You should too. Enroll in that baking class over the weekend.Once you start it becomes easier.Are you a tech enthusiast like me. Enroll in that data analytics class, Python/R or sign up with Microsoft courses and earn yourself a badge.This year i'll learn to the end ,no giving up.No doing courses half way.

We all know we should save but whats the point of saving only to spend to the last coin.Spending in lump some. Saving is the easier part for me.To make it work just save say 20% of what you earn before you start spending.Open a different savings account for the same.Lock in that Mshwari account or whichever works for you.Start small in the end its a huge success story.So this year I'll research on the available opportunities to invest in,might not be fulfilled within the year but something has to be done.Well I have underestimated my potential I hope to be risk taker going forward.
I don't have a whole bucket list that you have.I am being practical or rather trying to actualize this so a few is good start for me.Before I sign out I am going to take a break and go for a vacation.This is long overdue.Be it down to the coast or somewhere in the jungle .It is doable.Go girl!Tembea Kenya it is.
